Bio
A native of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, I bring over 14 years of coaching experience to
the court. My coaching journey began at Greenville High School, where I served as the
assistant varsity coach for one season and the head varsity coach for two seasons during
my off season of playing professional volleyball. After stepping away from coaching at
Greenville to focus on my professional volleyball career overseas, I returned to the sideline
in 2014 as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of South
Carolina, a role I held for nine years.
Following my final collegiate coaching season in December 2022, I began offering private
and group volleyball lessons for athletes of all ages. In March 2023, I resumed high school
coaching at Gray Collegiate Academy, where I currently lead the varsity team and oversee
the entire volleyball program, including middle school and junior varsity levels.
My playing career spans seven years of professional volleyball in multiple countries,
beginning in 2007 and concluding with my retirement in May 2014. During that time, I won
two professional championships and was named a league MVP.
I played collegiately at the University of South Carolina from 2003 to 2007, earning honors
as a three-time All-SEC selection, AVCA All-American, AVCA National Player of the Week,
Team MVP, and 2006–07 USC Co-Female Athlete of the Year. I still hold several USC
records, including all-time and single-season marks for kills, kills per set, attacks, points,
and points per set. I also represented the USA National Team during the summers of 2004
and 2005 and was inducted into the University of South Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame in
2016 — my most cherished honor to date.
Outside of volleyball, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I’m a proud mother to
two sons, Jackson (5) and Landon (4), and married to Brandon Wallace, the girls’ basketball coach at our school.
